COVID-19: "too many countries" register an exponential increase in cases
The northern hemisphere is at a "critical moment" in the COVID-19 pandemic, warned the WHO boss on Friday, judging that too many countries are recording an exponential increase in cases.
"Too many countries are experiencing an exponential increase in COVID-19 cases and this is now leading to hospitals and intensive care units being close or having exceeded their capacity limits and we are only in October" , said Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus at a press conference.
