Trump's campaign site briefly hacked
The campaign site of U.S. President Donald Trump, candidate for re-election, was briefly hacked Tuesday, one week before the election.
"This site has been seized," said a message posted for a few minutes on a page of donaldjtrump.com. "The world has had enough of the false information spread every day by the president".
The hackers then claimed to have confidential information about Donald Trump and his government, and asked for the payment of cryptography to reveal its contents.
Trump 2020 campaign spokesman Tim Murtaugh confirmed the hacking in a statement and said he was working with police to identify the source.
