Queen Elizabeth and the whole United Kingdom said a final goodbye to Prince Philip. The funeral of the Duke of Edinburgh, husband of Queen Elizabeth since 1947, was celebrated at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle, this Saturday afternoon.

Prince Philp now rests in the royal vault of St. George's Chapel in Windsor, west of London. His remains will remain there until the Queen joins him at her death.

Due to the pandemic, only thirty members of the royal family attended the funeral.

Married in 1947 to Prince Philip, Queen Elizabeth found herself alone. Dressed all in black, masked from beginning to end, the queen let out a few tears. She was accompanied by a lady-in-waiting.

In cold since the shock interview of Harry and Meghan on American television, the brothers William and Harry were found for the funeral of their grandfather. They were not however side by side but separated by their cousin, Peter Philips. Harry's wife, Meghan Markle, pregnant, remained in the United States. William and Harry exchanged a few words with Kate Middleton after the ceremony. Then Kate left to leave the brothers together.

The emotion was palpable within the royal family. Like Charles, son of Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip. But also his sister Princess Anne and Princes Andrew and Edward.
