Zinedine Zidane |
Several media reports confirmed that French Real Madrid coach Zinedine Zidane made a final decision regarding whether or not to continue with the team.
The reliable Italian journalist, Fabricio Romano, said that Zidane decided to leave Real Madrid and reached an agreement with the club's management to terminate the contract by mutual consent.
So far, no official announcement has been made regarding Zidane's departure from Real Madrid, and it is expected that this will take place within the next few hours.
Zidane will thus end his second coaching term with Real Madrid, as he previously coached the team between January 2016 and until his resignation in May 2018, before returning again in March 2019.
And several press reports indicated, before the end of the season, that Zidane made his decision to leave Real Madrid after a disappointing season that he ended the "Merengue" without winning any titles, for the first time since 2010.
According to Fabricio Romano, Juventus and Inter Milan are preparing to move to sign Zidane.
On the other hand, Real Madrid lists a number of candidates to succeed Zidane in coaching the team, led by former Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri, and Raul Gonzalez, the royal club's legend and coach of his reserve team.
