Curfew decreed in Philadelphia after two nights of violence

The American city of Philadelphia, shaken by two nights of looting and violence triggered by the death of a black man shot by police, announced Wednesday the establishment of a curfew from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. local time. 

The announcement on the city's website comes as President Donald Trump on Wednesday pointed out the responsibility of the Democratic mayor's office in this violence. "What I see is terrible, and frankly, the mayor or whoever is allowing people to demonstrate and loot without stopping them is also terrible," the Republican president said from Las Vegas, where he continues his campaign rallies six days before the presidential election
