Austin Rivers could join the Bucks
Like every year, the big teams take advantage of the "buyout" to strengthen for the playoffs. The Bucks could be next since The Athletic announces that they are the favorites to sign Austin Rivers.
Transferred to Oklahoma City in the triangle trade for George Hill, Doc's son has just been cut by the Thunder, and he will soon be a free agent.
If he joins Milwaukee, he will bring his usual scoring punch off the bench for a team that has lost some this season. Last year, the Bucks had the 8th best bench in terms of scoring, with 40 points scored by the substitutes on average. This season, they have only the 16th, with 34.6 points scored.
The Milwaukee Bucks are leaders to sign Austin Rivers upon clearing waivers, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. There's strong mutual interest between the sides. https://t.co/xnw7aherEe
