Biden stumbles while boarding Air Force One and the White House comments

The White House confirmed, Friday, that US President Joe Biden is "fine," after stumbling upon the steps of Air Force One.

"The wind speed at Andrews Air Force Base near Washington may be the reason Biden faltered," White House spokeswoman Gene Saki said in a press conference.

"It's very windy outside, but it's 100 percent fine," Saki added.

The spokeswoman did not say whether Biden had a doctor's examination after the accident, or not.

And a video clip, circulated by the media and social networking sites, showed Biden stumbling as he boarded Air Force One to go to Atlanta, the capital of the US state of Georgia.

In the middle of the stairs leading to the door of Air Force One, Biden stumbled twice, and fell on his knee, but he managed to regain his balance at the last moment, holding his right hand on the metal rail.

And then, "Air Force One" took off from the "Andrews" military base in the suburb of the American capital, Washington.

Biden will spend his day in Atlanta meeting with representatives of Asian Americans after the shootings, Tuesday, in massage parlors.

And in late November, Biden broke his right foot while playing with one of his dogs.
