The Donald Trump club in Florida "Mar-a-Lago" has been partially closed after cases of Coronavirus infection appeared among employees, local media reported Friday.

The former Republican president has lived in Maralago since leaving the White House on January 20.

Trump contracted Covid-19 in early October, was hospitalized for a few days, and then he and his wife Melania received vaccinations in January.

"Since some of our employees have recently tested positive for COVID-19, we are temporarily suspending services at the beach club and dining hall," the club's management said in a message carried by the Washington Post.

The number of injured has not been determined.

The administration indicated that other services in the club will remain open, confirming that "all appropriate measures will be taken in accordance with the directives" of the federal health authorities to sterilize the building.

Palm Beach County sent a warning to the club in January after photos showed guests were not wearing masks at the New Year's Eve party.
