The increase in the number of fans in the Champions League final

The number of fans who can attend the Champions League Final has risen to 16,500, with the approval of the Portuguese authorities.
Portugal will host the Champions League final between Manchester City and Chelsea on Saturday at the Porto club.
UEFA said the Portuguese authorities had agreed to attend 33% of the Dragao stadium's 50,000 capacity, which means 16,500 spectators appearing in the stands.
Uefa stressed that the rules of social distancing should be observed to limit the spread of the Corona virus.
A few days ago, the European Union Football Association announced the transfer of the Champions League final from Istanbul, Turkey, to Porto, Portugal, with the presence of 6 thousand fans for each team during the match.
Uefa's decision comes against the background of the United Kingdom's placing Turkey on its red list for the Coronavirus, which meant that the fans of the two teams could not travel to attend the match.
Also, UEFA revealed that it had negotiated the transfer of the match to England itself, but "it was not possible to exempt the participants from the quarantine measures applied there."
This is the second time in a row that Turkey does not host the final of the tournament due to the outbreak of the Corona virus.
As last year's edition was held in the combined tournament system, starting with the quarter-finals in Portugal, and the final was held at Al-Nour Stadium, the stronghold of Benfica.
England included Portugal in the green list that it is possible to travel to and from without requiring a 10-day quarantine.
Because of that, it will be easy for the crowd to travel back and forth to attend the match.
